Is Zoom cancelling out the "background noise" when you need that to be heard?
- Within Zoom, ap user profile picture in top right, then settings.
- Audio Settings
- Audio Profile
- Change to "Original Sound for Musicians"
- Tick High Fidelity Music Mode and Echo Cancellation, leave Stereo audio disabled.
- Scroll Down - Advanced button
- Change "Signal processing by Windows audio device drivers" to OFF
The above settings appear to stay configured after a restart of the PC, but may need to be reconfigured after Zoom updates.
When in a meeting, in full screen mode, ensure it indicates "Original Sound for Musicians: ON" - clicking on these words toggles it on or off.
